Yesterdays Sorms

My Dad and I went Atving and had a pretty good day.We rode 41 miles and didn't get too wet.A few thunder stoms went through but nothing that soaked us.

After getting my girls straightened out on how to start my cruiser they got home and Brittany cooked us Supper.Ate our tacos and i was looking at the radar and the Sheriff's Department announced the Adams County was in a tornado watch. The radar i was looking at seemed to show the the storm in Wood County was strong but the one going through by us was dissipating so i shut down the computer and shut off the scanner and went to bed.
Tracie was sitting at the edge of the bed and said"Honey i don't like how those pine trees are whipping"so i turned the television on the channel 9 and as soon as they said "Adams Friendship" the power went out.The wind whipped for 5 more minutes and then it was calm.I thought it was just a thunder storm going through so i didn't think much of it.With the power being out Tracie went out to grab her phone and told her to grab mine.Soon i got it in my hand it was beeping telling me i have a voice mail.It was Daena so i called him back.He said"are you ok?"I said "why?"Daena said there was a Tornado that hit  Arkdale & Cottonville.Holy crap that's only a couple miles away.
I went outside watching the clouds and i seen one that was really tumbling so i ran in and got my camera.By the time i got back it rolled back up into the clouds. Then i hear the Fire Department say there was another funnel cloud seen on County Road Z and Cypress.Got another call from Daena and he told me to take cover so i told Tracie to get dresses and i grabbed the puppies and we ran to the car.I believe the 2nd one was not a funnel cloud but we weren't going to take the chance so we went to the in-laws till things settled down
Got home about 8:30 and the power was on and the sky was clear so we knew it was safe to be back home.

I drove down Hwy 21 West of Arkdale and i was amazed to see all the destruction.Took a few videos and above is a small video of one of the Farms that got hit hard.
