After 2 days of working on the Artic Cat i finally thought i got it fix enough to take it for a ride.
We took off Satuday and i thought it was a little loud and by the time i got to Grand Marsh and put gas in,it seemed to be alot louder. We rode towards Westfield but as soon as we got to the County line the sound of the exhaust was unbearable,Russell made a phone call and we turned around and went back to our friend Mikes place.Russell did a little welding on the muffler and after a little bull shittin Mikes son Mike was back from registering his snowmobile and we took off towards Coloma.Had no problems till we got close to Coloma .My sled kept popping off the plug wire off and i finally had to cut a strap apart and tie it to the water hose to stop it from popping off.
We made it to Coloma and i got a little gas and we ate a sandwich at A&W and decided to take a different way home. That way was shorter and smoother.
We rode 60 miles and the Artic Cat made it,started to get a little loud when we got home but wasn't as loud as it was when we left.
That sled is so fast,i went flying across the field around 50 and i was barely squeezing the throttle and when i squeezed the throttle hald way i felt the skis come off the ground.
That was Tracie's first snowmobile ride by herself. She said that was her last one for this year. She's not much for being outside.
The moon was awesome last night.I kept thinking there was a sled behind me but it was the bright full moon.I tried taking a picture but my camera lens fogged up and i didn't want the rest of the crew to wait too long.
Wonder where i am going to ride next weekend?
