I should of known i was going to have problems Sunday when I started having problems before i got my quads loaded up.
To start out my good day i went behind my shed to put a gallon of gas in my old quad(i got stuck, then i ran out of gas-go figure)it wouldn't start then the battery went dead so i had to drag my battery charger to the back.Let that charge while i loaded up my new quad.Went back and finally got the old girl started. Then i was stuck.Shoveled it out and still stuck so i had to give it a push by hand and it came out.
Things went good after i got the quads loaded up,then i went to Dads and helped take his topper off, loaded his quad in the back of his truck, hooked my trailer up to Dads truck and off we go.
Things went well until we started getting off the interstate at Milston.I blue poof came from under my trailer and when we got to the parking lot i looked and a big chunk of rubber flew off the tire.We figured we would deal with that when we got back.
When we got on the trail all those problems were forgotten.I am in another world when i ride my quad.
We rode to the creek where we usually stop and bull crapped for a while.Went to leave and Dads quad wouldn't start. We were screwed cause his quad don't have a pull rope to start his quad.We got looking around and the only thing we could find was a spot light i got from Finger Hut.One where you plug it into your cigarette lighter.I cut if off and made a jumper cable out of it.To my surprise it worked.
We made it to Black River Falls and ate at Taco Johns.Daena took off before we were dressed so he could take picture of us and others who went by.We had problems getting Dads quad to start, our jumper cables weren't getting a good connection.Got it going, met up with Daena and headed back to the truck.Brittany started slowing up and Dad asked if she was getting tired?"no she said"seems like there is something wrong.I took off with it and i could only go 15 to 20 mph, over that it would puke out.(same thing that happened to Daena's quad)It was a long ride back but we made it.
Got loaded up and started heading back home.We got on the interstate and chunks of rubber was flying off of the trailer tire.We stopped at Walmart in Tomah Wisconsin and they had a spare but i didn't have to $47 to buy it so Dad helped me out.Got taking the old tire off and Daena had to open his big mouth and say"WHEN I TOOK MY TIRE OFF THE WHOLE STUD TURNED AND I HAD A HELL OF A TIME GETTING THE LUGS OFF"Guess what??????He no more than said that,my very next lug nut the whole stud turned. We pissed around with it having no luck so Dad went back into Walmart and bought a pair of vise grips.Things went better after we changed the tire.

Hey, let me know if you have any luck welding those studs with your new welder. If it works, maybe I can bring my trailer up and have you or Michael do the same thing to mine.
When it gets warmer out, maybe July when the last of the snow melts i will give it a try.
