Brittany and I tried our luck on loading the blazer onto my Dads trailer yesterday and after a few tries and alot of Tracies suggestions(i mean alot)we got it straight enough where it wouldn't fall off.I had the trailer backed through the yard and backed into the ditch so we didn't have to pull the blazer up ramps.
I then pulled the trailer over to Russell's.He got looking at it and came to the conclusion that the motor he has won't fit into my blazer so i ended pulling it back.I stopped in town to put my light set up on and there was no plug on the wires on the trailer.Crap! So i had no choice but to keep going even though i had no lights. We got back home at 7 and this time of year 7 o'clock is pretty dark.
Brittany got my quad and we pulled it back off the trailer and pushed it back into the garage.I guess my next thing to do with the blazer is to pay the 100 bucks and have the head done.

I'd try to grind the valves a little and see if one or more are bent. Pull the head off, remove the valve springs, and bring the head and valves over and we'll look at them. I think I still have some grinding compound and the stuff to do it. It's been many years. Anyway, if you have a bent valve, grinding it should show us which one/ones.
Anyway, since the engine Russell has won't fit, will a head work from it? Is that an option? Maybe he don't want to part the motor out though.
I got the head off and the springs off also.I got them in the car.I might pop over tomorrow but if not i will come over Saturday and see what we can figure out.
Finally cooling off.Ahhhh now i can shut my air conditioner off.Hopefully for the rest of this year.
