No Hot Weather For Now!

Finally the heat and humidity has gone away for now.It was in the mid 70's today with the humidity in the 30's.Almost perfect.

Won't be long we will be getting our 1st frost,hopefully it will hold off until late September so my sweet corn has a chance to mature.I planted it pretty late(i believe it was June 30th when i planted it)It has 80 days before maturity.

After sitting outside in all sorts of weather for 2 years,i finally decided to fix and fill our swimming pool.It's one of those pools you get at Wal-Mart where you blow up the ring on top and fill with water.So far i found one hole in the top ring and i patched that and i filled it with water for 2 hours.Maybe tomorrow i will finish filling it.I warm my pool with my sub pump.I lower it into my pool and hook up 4 garden hoses.When the water runs through all those hoses it warms the water.

Aw crap the ring on my pool is almost flat.Must be more holes.Back to the drawing board.
