All i can say is "WOW!!!It is truly amazing up there.People are so nice, almost too nice.
It seemed like it took forever to get there but once we were there, it was worth all the headaches.
Thursday when we got there it was raining so i asked if there was a Walmart and to my surprise they said there was but we had to go to Ironwood Michigan.I thought "O Boy" now we got another hour ride but i didn't know it was just on the other side of the bridge.
We all got ourselves a rain suit(i would like to say "Thank You again" to Uncle Bob for buying mine). It was a good purchase cause Friday when we set out it was cold and rainy and it stayed that way all day but that didn't stop us from having a blast. We rode 60 mils on Friday,75 on Saturday and 40 on Sunday.
The trails gave you a variety of old rail road beds and pure rugged off road trails. We seen a few Deer on Friday and Saturday and Sunday we seen a Wolf.We thought it was a Coyote but it was too big for that and we seen a couple a few minutes after that, they seen it and they said it was a Wolf.No Bear dang it.
Also on Friday Tracie and i went looking for a waterfall and it was closer than i thought and it was a very cool waterfall.
Saturday we rode to Lake Superior had a picnic and rode back but that took us most of the day.We got about 10 miles from Lake Superior and my Dad ran over a railroad spike.Took 2 plugs to plug the hole and it didn't leak.Lucky he carries a little air compressor and tire plugs.Had it fixed in a few minutes and we were on our way.
Sunday we took a 40 mile loop and we seen the Wolf and another waterfall.Picture coming later..
Going away somewhere is nice but it is wonderful to be home. This is just a summery of what happened on our trip and hope more comes to mind so i can tell everyone more.
