Yesterday started out to be a crappy day but when Tracie got done work the rain let up and we were able to get to the woods and cut a huge tree down.My bar is 18" and i had to walk to the other side and cut another 4 inches.Took me 3 hours to cut and split while Tracie threw the wood in a pile and piled brush.
 On the bad note i am a killer!!!I split my 1st block of wood and a baby squirrel fell out.We both felt SO bad.Poor little thing.I finally had to tell Tracie to take it somewhere else cause i hated to see it suffering.Then Tracie dug in the grass for a half hour looking for more babies.What got her to finally quit was i hit a block of wood with the maul and a chunk of wood flew over and knocked the stick out of her hand.(just glad it hit the stick cause the chunk of wood was pretty big and it would of her her pretty bad)
 I have one piece i struggled with and could not get it to split.It was either a tough piece or i was getting tired but i do know it won.
 Little sore today but i have at least 2 maybe 3 more trees to cut before i get a load so i will have to take a handful of ibuprofen  and be on my way to the woods.Driving the tractor over there too and that takes 45 minutes so i best be going.
