Back Seat Problems

It's been 4 weeks now and i still couldn't get our back seat to go back up into the upright position.
Looks at a few blogs where people had the same problem and they said they had to take out the back seat and fix some kind of plastic thing.
Yesterday with the beautiful sun shining bright i figured i would tackle this problem.I got the seat out after removing 7 bolts and i took off this and that and i had the back of the seat removed and still couldn't get the seat to go upright.
Then the light came on and i said to myself"hey dumb ass take the bolt that holds the seat belt out"2 hours of farting around and had the seat up in 1 minute so it took me another 15 minutes to put all the other things back on the seat.

Not sure why the seat did that but now i know how to get it fixed next time without taking the seat out of the car.
