We Did The Unthinkable

Sunday we went to Cousin Kelly's place for his Daughters Birthday Party.One our way home we stopped at Home Depot and Walmart to pick up a few things.
One our way home from the Dells i thought i would stop by Easton Motors.They had this Green 2003 Saturn Vue for 13,000.Tracie Said"tomorrow we will stop for shits and giggles and see how much the payments would be.

So today on our way home we stopped.We hee hawed around for a while and the salesman said"why don't we fill these things out and you take the car for a ride to your place and get a few things on this list"Ok so we drove it home played with everything possible to play with,got our info we needed and went back.

We went back into the salesman office and he told us that the best he could do was 400 bucks a month.Nope unacceptable we both said.We said that for 10 minutes and then he said"let me go talk to the boss"he left and a few minutes he came back and said the best we could do was 328 a month.Again we hee hawed around for a while and Tracie said"i might be ok if the insurance isn't too high".The salesman slid the the edge of his seat and said"hey thats a great idea,call your insurance company and see what it would be"So i called.

Ok here is where it gets interesting.I call the insurance company for a quote.She asked what kind of car it was.I told her what it was and what kind of coverage i wanted.She said"do you have the Vin number?I said "Yup"and gave it to her.At 1st we had one number off so we got that straightened out and she said to me"Hey that Vin comes back as a 2004 instead of 2003".I said "what?"so she read the numbers back again and she had a 5 instead of an S so we read it through another time and she said it still comes back as a 2004.

I said the the salesman"hey that vin number comes back as a 2004"he said"WHAT"he grabs the paper and they go look at the title and sure shit it is a 2004.They weren't happy cause they just screwed themselves out of some money.

Then the owner came in and thanked us 3 times for the purchase,then the mechanic took us out and gave us a tour of everything in the car,which seemed odd cause the last car we bought they said"there's your car"and off we went.

Signed a shit load of papers and they took our picture before we left.

Didn't believe we would buy a newer car but it's ours now so hope we can pay for it now.He He
