Things didn't start out very good after Christmas cause at 1st i couldn't get Dads sled to run so i give up on it for a couple days.I went out a couple days later and put gas in the cylinders and it fired rite up but when i drove it to the neighbors it dies and it wouldn't run very good so i nursed it back home and it died so i grabbed the pull rope and the 2nd pull the rope broke.
I took the recoil off and i tried to get the spring to go into the right spot and all of a sudden the damn spring flew out and i farted around with it for an hour and i took it in the house so Tracie could help me but we locked horns for a while and when we got that off our chest we got it in where it belonged.I ended up buying a new rope for it and i took off the recoil 5 times before i got it to work properly.
Friday morning i took off both carburetors, blew them out and put them back on and it purred like a kitten in the garage. The neighbors were going for a ride at 2pm so i hurried to get ready and waited for the others to get there. We took off and i got a mile down the road and the damn thing started puking out again. We pissed with it a little and as i lifted the back it ran fine but as soon as i sat on the seat it puked out so right then i decided not to risk it and drove it back home but the closer i got back home it seemed to run a little better so i decided to ride back towards the trail so if it did die Tracie could pull me home with the car,but the more i choked it the better it started running so i headed toward Arkdale. As i got out of Arkdale i didn't need to choke it until i stopped at a stop sign and a couple more miles after that it didn't puke at all so i hammered on it and caught up to the group(there was 7 of us)and the picture on my website
the top 3 pictures are the group descending down a large hill, they were coming too fast and my camera couldn't keep up and the bottom 3 are when we were 1st getting together.
