Thunderbird Problems

584 e-mails is what i started with yesterday morning and i started Thunderbird at 10am and at 10pm i received 400 and wouldn't you know it,the damn internet unhooked and the bastard started from the beginning adding on more, think it was 600.

I have been tempted to uninstall Thunderbird and start all over, not sure it will help,i think it is my server cause it never used to be this slow.A few years ago i had this problem and i called Solarus and they told me it was my phone lines,so i got the phone company out here and checked everything over and things turned out to be good so i called them back and they had me do a bunch of things on my computer it still didn't help.Couple days after that thing were flying, they must of did something with the server.

I guess if it keeps up i will have to find another way to e-mail friends and family.I used to go to the server itself and read my e-mails and i cannot get on the either.

Try http://webmail.dwave.net and see if that works better for you.

P.S.
Changing e-mail programs won't make any difference. It's not a problem with the program. You need to check your mail more often, delete the junk more often, and get your junk filter set up better. After 12 hours, your dialup connection reset itself. I'm surprised it let you tie up a modem that many hours straight!

Sounds like you ended with your e-mail address on some spammer's list. Be careful where you give out your address.

Mailhelper is your spam filter. It's because they are going through your filter and straight to your inbox, that's why you don't see them in Mailhelper. Reset Mailhelper settings to the default and see if that helps. It's not your e-mail program's fault. No matter what program you have you will still get the same e-mails that are sent to your inbox.
