2 Baby Beagles

Well!It's official!Tracie,Brittany & I are new proud parents of 2 female Beagle pups.They turned 7 weeks old on Friday January 16 2009.

They are fun to have around but a handful too.I didn't think such a small pup could pick up a shoe or a broom and carry it away. For little pups they are strong.

Check out my website to see a few pictures of the puppies and our kitty cat watching over them.We figured the cat would slap the hell out of them but so far it has been the complete opposite.Tracie and i tell the pups "NO" and if they don't listen "Baby" hops off his chair gives them a couple swats on the rear end and hops back up on the chair and continues to watch over the babies.we are really surprised he reacts that way cause if a human comes in the house, one way or another he is going to get you and you will be bleeding if you piss him off.I guess the pups are something new and he is waiting until they grow up a little before the battle royal starts.

We drove about and hour to get the pups. They were between Wi. Rapids Wi. and Marshfield Wi..I believe we took 13North to 186 North. We went through Vesper and Arpin (little but quaint towns)-turned onto County N then onto County E.Went North 5 miles.Pretty easy place to find even though we drove by it looking on the wrong side of the road.

Tracie thought for a couple days and have come up with 2 names. The one with more black on her is Mollie, the stocky more chunkier one is Mattie.

I wished now the snow would go away so the pups could go outside and play.Maybe work off some of the energy they have.Got another month and a half before the snow is gone.

Most of the pictures on my website were taken on their 1st day here and Tracie had a blast with them. They were getting into trouble left and right & Tracie was snapping pictures left and right.

I know!Only had them 2 days and have already fell in love with them.Sure they are like taking care of a baby human but that's ok they will learn right along with us.
