Arkdale Rec Days

Tracie,Brittany,Joe n I went to the Arkdale Rec Days to watch a game of softball.

I was really impressed on how well they played and how the old people like me could get around.Alot of them were my age or older.
I love baseball and softball and was itching to get out there and play but an out of shape big boned guy like me wouldn't make the cut.
They might be full figured and chunky like me but they could at least make it to 1st base without collapsing,cause i know for sure that would be what would happen to me.

The 1st game we watched was almost over and really didn't get into it but the 2nd game was fun to watch.Our neighbors showed up so we sat by them and things started out a little slow but by the 4 or 5 inning things were heating up.The team we were rooting for ,the pitcher had a really bad attitude and they were down by 4 points .They rallied back and got one point ahead of the other team and all they had to do was stop the other team from scoring but they didn't and the other team tied them so they had to go another inning.They held the other team from scoring and this big guy got up to bat,must of been 8 foot tall,he hammered the ball and i swear he only made 3 steps to get to each base and he got all the way around to 3rd base and this lady hit the ball and they guy ran in and the game was over.

Drank 8 too many beers but seen alot of friends and relatives so it was worth it.

Today i am riding bike to the Rec Days to watch the parade.
