Mel's 1st Atv Ride

A few months back Mel(my sister)bought my step mothers atv.She had to put a little money into it and yesterday 6-21-08 was her 1st official atv ride.

Friday night in the pouring rain i was outside trying to take a head off a car,Brittany came out and said to call Grandpa.I called to what was going on around 10pm and he said to be ready at 7am cause were going for a atv ride.Who in their right mind would pass up an opportunity like that?

We hauled our quads to Black River Falls this time.We took the Milston loop backwards.NOTE: The trail North of HWY 54 is CLOSED Due to flooding.I rode 65 miles but Dad,Mel & Jeff got a couple less miles cause i was leading and the music in my mind override d the thought of looking back to see if they were behind me.I drove back quite a ways and here they sit waiting for me.Dads quad over heated and the battery was dead.The 2 Pictures on my website show our redneck jumper cables and our redneck vice grips.We charged Dads quad for 10 minutes and got him going and we didn't see him until we got to the truck.Didn't know that old fart could handle going that fast.

We were less than 15 miles when Dad found a mud hole that was a little deeper that he thought.Don't worry, it was on the trail.hooked his winch to my quad and he pulled himself out and when he put his quad into gear the clutch stuck and went into reverse and he fell back into the mud hole.He He.He made me laugh cause he sounded like Daena when he was stuck and tipping to the side,"come on you ass, stop taking pictures and GET ME OUT OF HERE"i love it!!!!!!

Missed the scavenger hunt but i still got to go riding.
