The day started out slow cause i had to wash some socks before i went.I finally got to town and gassed up the sled and off i went.
I haven't rode snowmobile for a good 15 years and things have changed alot in that time.I left the Litehouse in Adams nervous as hell cause i thought for sure that little fat bastard Shawn Long was going to nail me for something stupid.I got lucky didn't the Rec. officer.Got to the trail and hammered on the gas heading to the trail that used to be there 15 years ago.Didn't see no arrows so i crossed the RR tracks and i came just behind the Coop.I said to myself"shit this is not where i want to go" so I turned around and looked at the map and sure shit that trail i was looking for wasn't on the map.I finally got straightened around and rode to Russell's place.
Russell was gone so his brother Clifford went for a ride with me.We stopped just behind Daena's place, bull crapped for a little bit.Clifford turned around cause he didn't have much gas and i continued on.I got to Hwy 82 and County B and called Tracie to check in and to see if Clifford made it back ok.I considered turning around but kept going.Got to the intersection of HWY 82 & 13 and took a little break.
After the break i hit the trail and to my surprise things didn't change all the way to Adams.
I rode 80 miles yesterday and would of rode more but my Dads sled is a little small for me and my legs were getting tired from hanging out the sides.
Now for my PICTURES.You can check them out on my website.
The picture with my cousin Clifford smoking, and my Dads snowmobile is when we stopped behind Daena's place. Also that is Clifford hitting a snow bank a Russell's place and getting some air.
The 1st two pictures on my website are Lone rock &Quincy bluff. That is where the tornado went through a few years ago.Still total destruction though that area.
Lone rock used to be our hang out in high school, after seeing how high it is,i am surprised i was able to be that high off the ground.
The picture of the old bar is another one of our hang outs and bought alot of beer from there. The dirt on the floor made you think you were on a beach and the cock roaches would walk across your hands and lap as you drank your beer. The good -ole days
The 2 snowmobiles crossing the road was at the intersection of Hwy 82& Co. B
The rock on the side of the trail is one of my old time favorites land marks i remember from when i was a kid.
