Good Ole Days

Daena has some pictures on his website that really made me think.Look at the picture with all the quads. That wasn't a club function that was a few friends getting together and having fun.If i remember right we rode 100 miles that day

Who is that skinnier guy in this picture?

That was quite a day. Many of the group turned around and went home early, but the rest of us die-hards continued on to Pray. Then returned in the dark in a severe storm! Got separated, soaked, pelted with hail, and the shit scared out of by lightning strikes!

You're in the top left picture of that group, on the same day. Look at what you're wearing - green shirt, hat, long pants. In the picture you're looking at, the skinny guy isn't you, if that's what you were thinking. Billy Armstrong is wearing the hat and the guy looking away from the camera with shorts on is Ann's nephew or something like that. I think his name was Jeremy, maybe? He only went with us a few times.

Now that i look at it closer it is Jeremy.I thought it was me cause i have a shirt and shorts just like that.
Now that you reminded me ,that is the ride that Me,Dad and uncle bob were the only ones who rode the trail back to the truck. When we stopped to hide under the bridge everyone decided to take the roads back.I think we were the last ones back.I was a little scary but with all the mud it was fun too.

Yes, that was the ride. Karen and I ended up alone, lost, cold, and totally soaked. A volunteer fireman eventually found us and led us back to the parking lot.

Just think if that was Adams County Wisconsin? You would of ended up lost, soaked, cold and a $186 dollar fine and no help to get you back to where you needed to be!!!RIGHT?

Right! Which is why I have never ridden in Adums Cunty since we built their trails for them.
