Sunday December 2nd

It has started out to be a warm day.Right now at 9:45 am it is 34 degrees.

I tried out my 2 snow blowers that was given to me and so far i like the small one my father-in-law give me.I have to go a little slower and make a few more trips across the driveway but it cleans the driveway a little better.I was given a self propelled snow blower from a guy at work and it didn't work very good on the wet snow. All it wanted to do was spin and it is heavier so the little bit i used it wore me out.In less than 5 minutes , before the motor even got warm it was put back into the shed and i got the little one back out.

Yes i do miss using my quad and maybe one time this winter i will get it hooked up and running better, i will scrape the driveway off.The snow blowers are great but they don't clean off the driveway like the plow on my quad.

Last night we had to take Michael to work because of the weather and our road was terrible but once we go to the County roads they were ok.It was sleating pretty good but at 9:30pm it was raining a little and made our back road almost impassable.I took my truck at 9:30 and it did worse the Tracie's Cavalier. Then i got stuck when i got back home in the driveway.Pisses me off every year cause i always get stuck in the driveway.

They're both self-propelled. The one like mine, that you got from Papa Grant, you lift up on the handlebars so that the paddles hit the ground and it pulls itself along. And that's even what it says to do in the owners manual, so I'm not making it up! Ha ha! You should rarely ever have to push it.

Today i blew the snow back into the road that the snow plow threw in my clean driveway!he he and i kinda found the out if i lifted the handle bars up it would go on it's own.Bad thing about that is,it pulls it too fast and lugs it down where it almost stops.

Sounds like i will be trying it out tomorrow also.Channel 7 said 3 to 5 inches for tomorrow.Haven't checked Noaa yet.

You're lifting up too much. Just enough to make it go slowly, and it also does a cleaner job that way too. You still might have to help it along slightly, depending on how icy it is underneath.
