I woke up this morning thinking all i had to do was switch the tires around on Tracies car but it wasn't that simple.I cleaned a spot in my garage so i could get the car in the garage and when i gotten in the car the brakes felt funny and when i tried to stop the peddle went to the floor.I said to myself"damn broken brake line somewhere".I had Tracie come out and step on the brake while i lay on the cold floor looking for the leak.Didn't see it at first but i heard it.Well dumb dumb me took the front tire off and put on the back and put the new tire Michael bought on the front.Guess what?!The rubber hose was broke on the front tire i just put on.
Made 3 phone calls to see who was the cheapest and off to town i go.Kinda funny our town can't have 2 grocery stores but it can support 3 auto parts stores and 2 dollar stores.
I had good luck until i got the fitting that goes onto the metal brake line. The nut wouldn't turn so i had to take the end off the brake caliper and use vise grips and a pipe wrench and it came off that way.
After all that i had a truck load of garbage i had to take to the dump ,then i had to blow more snow out of the driveway again.
After all that Tracie and I had a few gift card from Walmart that were burning a hole in Tracies purse so we went to the Dells and Baraboo and used them up.

I always thought it was strange how brake lines are so important, but they make them out of such crappy metal that they corrode so bad. What a pain in the butt they are. One of the worst things to work on is brake lines.
It's not my picture because I checked! Ha ha! Even if it was my picture, I wouldn't care. I wouldn't care even if somebody didn't say it was my picture. Just as long as LFB doesn't tell everybody that it's HIS picture.
I'll see you around 8:00ish. I have to stop in town to get gas in the old bald tire pickup first, but I got loaded up yesterday already. It was a little tricky digging through my winter riding clothes to find something that fits over my gut yet, but I think I got it covered now!
