1990 chevy s10 Blazer 4x4
Little rust and need motor work.
I have pissed with it for 2 years now and i have admitted my defeat.
When i bought it, the head gasket went out and the guy drove it to the father-in-laws and must of gotten it hot and screwed something up.Couple of falls ago i put the new head gasket in and after i put it back together it would run good until it got hot then it would die.Would start right back up after it cooled off.
Took it to a garage and they could only figure out that it looses compression on #1  cylinder.I took that head off(opposite head of the head gasket)had the valves ground and checked and found one valve bent .Put it back together
and now it runs worse than it did before.Actually it only runs with the gas peddle almost to the floor and when i let off i dies.
2 years of headaches has finally taken it's toll on me.Very frustrated and very disappointed.If only my Grandpa could of stayed well for a little longer i know i could of relied on him to help me figure this out.

Ask Uncle Bill again, before you give up on it. Is Michael in auto classes at school? Maybe his teacher could help him figure it out?
