I have been grinding on my maul for that past 2 days now and it is starting to split a hair better. It isn't so blunt now and when you hit the block it seems to break the block a little. Before it would bounce like you were splitting rubber.
Might still be a little sharp yet but i have been hitting the dirt alot so it should get better soon.I might grind it a hair more and see if it will help a little more.
Took me 3 days but i finally got my load of wood unloaded.I bet my trailer say ahhhhh!
I can cut another load at the same place if i want,i am undecided.I have alot of pine i can cut and i got a pulp cord or 2 of pine already cut for me that i can pick up.
Want to hear something unbelievable?I ran out of gas last night with my truck on my way home from town.He He i was only 1000 feet from the driveway

That looks better. Starting to look like a 6# now.
Will a load of pine hold fire all day in the middle of winter? If you've got the room, take it. Otherwise save the space for hardwood.
I usually burn pine now until it get real cold, around the middle of December.
Pine will hold a fire most of the day.I think i usually fill it when i get up in the morning and fill it when i get home from work.
