Another big load of wood

I had yesterday off from work so i decided to go cut wood at Joe's place(he works at Brakebush)I cut one little tree down and had it cut up in a couple of minutes. He came out with his chain saw admiring how well my Stihl goes through the wood so well.I decided to cut down the tree next to the one i just cut down,i cut the wedge out and started cutting the tree down and as it started to fall i looked up and here is Joe running where the tree is falling.I yelled out"YOU BETTER RUN FASTER THAN THAT YOU CRAZY BASTARD"and he got just far enough away before the tree fell to the ground. He said he felt the air from the limbs.I am sure he did and i almost crapped my pants watching the tree fall with him running under it.I swung my 8# maul all day yesterday and i got to the last 3 blocks and i could not get the effort to swing the maul anymore so we threw those in the back of the truck.

We broke from lunch and went to the Corner Pump(that's at the corner of Hwy 13&82)We all had subs there and i gotta say they were good and better than Subways.

I am not sure where i am going to stack more wood.I have my pile full so now i gotta start another one ,almost in the same boat Daena is.He has his yard full also. The guy North of me where i have been cutting his trees down for the past 4 years has more trees for me so i will have another load or so there.
Today Russell and i are going over by the Federal Prison to cut a couple trees.I get one he gets one.

Got my 1st frost last night. At midnight i had 33.6 but this morning when i woke up at 6:30 i had 27.3.Brrrr.
I have a bucket of water outside for the cats and that even froze over.

Holy shit! He almost got creamed!

That extra 2#s of the 8# maul makes a hell of a difference! About killed myself showing off with it the other day.

Get stacking! Don't make any difference if you have wood piled all over the yard. Remember that it will be gone sooner or later anyway. It's like money in the bank.

How do you get permission to cut wood on the prison land? Been wondering that myself, for Meri, who is thinking of getting a boiler. Stephen works there and he doesn't even know how to get permission.
