After a whole month of hot,dry weather,we finally got RAIN.It was getting pretty bad here.If i would walk out in the yard,every step you took,the sand would poof like you were in the Desert.
I recorded 1.69" and a few close lightning strikes.We were on a tornado watch but they canceled that around 8.It rained so hard that i had to close the windows on the north side of the house and that is unusual.
I also had to shut the tv off for a little while and just listen to the thunder & rain.Kind of relaxing.
