Word to the wise.

I had a big brain storm to put up a new television antenna,BUT i was too chicken to climb the tower to put it up.I had another brain storm to take the tower apart below the roof.Taking it down was the easy part.putting it back up with 20mph wind was another story. I put on the new antenna, new amp. and cable.

2nd time i turned the rotor i pulled the end off the cable off the amp. and the amp didn't seemed to work the way i expected so here goes brain storm #2

I took the tower back down put on the old amp and the old wire and as Michael and i were trying to put it back together a gust of wind came and blew it out of our hand and fell on the roof and broke the antenna.I Jerry rigged it back together for now but later on i will find someone who can climb the tower and put up a new antenna.

I found out sometimes you are better off to have a pro do something for you than to do it yourself and screw everything up.

Let me know next time, and I'll help you with it. Or, I think your cousin Kenny still does it once in awhile too. Otherwise, if you have it professionally done, it will cost you a lot. Larry and Joyce had their's done by a pro and rumor has it that it cost them 1500 bucks.
